Amatra By The Ganges Hotel Haridwār, Haridwār

During my stay at Amatra, I was astounded by the quality of the food. From the elaborate breakfast buffet, which featured everything from fresh fruits to delicious cheese omelettes, to the exquisite Pan-Asian and Indian dishes for lunch and dinner, each meal was a delight. The attentiveness of the restaurant staff, especially Rashmi and Pankaj, ensured that all our culinary needs were met flawlessly.

I loved how Amatra provided a great variety of recreational activities to keep us engaged. The moderate-sized swimming pool was perfect for splashing around, and I appreciated that it was safe for non-swimmers like my son. Additionally, the resort offered wall climbing for kids and various indoor games such as table tennis, which made our stay very active and fun.

The room I stayed in at Amatra was exceptionally spacious and beautifully designed. Each duplex villa had an exclusive garden and two rooms upstairs with private terraces. I thoroughly enjoyed the well-maintained living spaces which provided both privacy and communal areas for family activities. It was truly a home away from home, perfect for quality family time.

The spa facilities at Amatra were a highlight of my stay. I indulged in a rejuvenating spa treatment that left me feeling relaxed and invigorated. Plus, the serene environment, combined with private access to the Ganges, created a peaceful atmosphere that was perfect for unwinding after a day of activities. The evening Ganga Aarti on the banks added a spiritual touch to my relaxing getaway.
